WPCM MINISTER'S STAFF is called by God to be leaders or "first in line" to demonstrate love and humility to people everywhere they go.  The Holy Spirit is continuously empowering these leaders to be responsible in helping the pastor to nurture and care for the spiritual needs and concerns of church family and community.  We pray that the entire staff (pastoral and church) continue to seek the call and guidance of God with LOVE and PATIENCE.  

 DOUGLAS E. COGDELL, SR. PASTOR, is a very positive attribute to WHITE PLAINS ministry and vision.  Although he united with a work already "in-progress", he is faithful to compliment established concepts while encouraging the congregation and community to embrace new ideas, challenges, and relationships.

His values are: the Glory of Jesus Christ, the importance of people, the sufficiency of scripture, the care of the soul, and the fun of life...together.

Demonstrating love and concern to people anywhere is nothing foreign to COGDELL (affectionately called).  It's quite expected for him to bravely smile or even laugh in the face of most oppositions.

SR. PASTOR COGDELL has a lovely family that joins him in this ministry of love and acceptance...including DEBRA (wife and Eldress), with TIFFANY (Minister), and CANDICE...their daughters.

"COGDELL" enjoys hunting, fishing, grilling, and basketball (just watching, not playing....SMILE!).

DEBRA H. COGDELL, CO-PASTOR, is the administrative  ministry chairperson here at White Plains.  DEBRA is dedicated to initiate, teach, and oversee all legal aspects of this ministry  with careful nurturing and  current knowledge.  She shares the continuing service to the church and community with her husband (SR. PASTOR D. COGDELL) with humility and faithfulness.

DEBRA enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, and just simple everyday "family time".

Helene' Palmer is a leader in corporate prayer as well as intercessory prayer.  She encourages prayer partnerships among the church family (including the youth) and the community.  Feel free to submit a prayer request (please visit our prayer request page).   Minister Palmer and the church prayer partners will be dedicated to agree with you and God for whatever your concerns are.

Mrs. Gloria Rogers is our senior Bible Education Teacher.  She is passionate and dedicated   to the spiritual teaching of the  entire church body as well as the community.  She creates an  uncompromised atmosphere for each generation to learn and  personally experience their purpose with God  according to the Bible. Mrs. Rogers supports  and encourages her class to openly express themselves in the church programs ( Sunday School & Bible Study). 

Sunday School Classes are each 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays at 9:30AM- 10:50AM. (3rd Sunday is community fellowship with other churches and study time).
